Finally, there is the resting phase which lasts about 4-6 weeks, and here the hair is not growing anymore but it stays attached to the follicle until by the end of the phase, then it falls out to be replaced by newer ones.
Having understood the cycle of hair, you must know by now that your hair falling is a normal thing, however, the average number of hair shed per day is 50-100 strands, so if you feel that your hair is falling off in an abnormal number, you should be interested to know the following:

Most common of which is a thyroid gland problem, causing an imbalance in the hormonal levels of the body, eventually leading to a disturbed hair life cycle.
An infection in the scalp could be the reason for the hair thinning, as well as a disorder called Alopecia areata, which forces the immune system to fight the hair follicles leading to hair loss.
